Ordinary Grants

These grants are made for a wide variety of purposes under the general heading of "social welfare", e.g. to assist people with medical conditions, disabilities, addictions, to help the aged, youth work etc.

Applications for new work are welcome and the Trustees give special consideration for "pump priming" requests.

Whilst the Trust has no maximum amount of funding that it gives to individual organisations, applicants may want to view our latest Annual Accounts to see the average amount of funding.

There is only one grant window for the receipt and determination of applications which is May. All grant applications must be received by 31 March preceding the May meeting. Any applications received after this date will not be considered until the next year.

Applications should be made on the grant application form and sent to the Secretary along with the latest financial statements.  Applicants may need to be available for discussion of the application at a mutually agreed time. We are happy to accept applications via email.

All applications will be acknowledged - please avoid the use of "Signed for" delivery as there is not always someone available to accept the delivery.

Please note that if your application is unsuccessful you cannot resubmit this within the same financial year.
